About Access Control

The main function of access control systems is to restrict free entry to a site or a building through various controllers. These may be time and attendance, staff access, fingerprint recognition or facial recognition controllers. The same category covers door entry phones, card readers, turnstiles, and electromagnetic and electromechanical door locks.

Access control systems come in configurations ranging from the simple (built for a single door) to the highly complex (for banks and large enterprises).
